For many years, HSB has prioritised research into the history of the Occupation period as well as the post-war purge trials, and the archive\u2019s staff have published a wide range of books, articles, encyclopaedia entries, etc. Based on his own books and research, Head of Archives Henrik Lundtofte gives lectures throughout the country. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Henrik Lundtofte (ed.): The Outcasts, the Unwelcome and the Admired. Denmark after the Occupation.<\/em> Nord Academic 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Libraries\u2019 assessment (27 March 2026): \u201cAn exciting and well-researched publication which, through a series of concrete examples, documents what happened in the years after the Occupation. The level is relatively high, but the language is not academic, and it can be read by anyone with an interest in the subject.\u201d<\/em> <\/p>\n

Weekendavisen<\/em> (26 June 2026): \u201cThe fact that the work also tackles questions and topics that have so far been under-illuminated in research only increases the book\u2019s value for everyone interested in the Occupation and the period that followed\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n
